The design, the material and the surface treatment (anti-UV paint and moisture resistance) allow Fermob furniture to be left outside, in the open air. However you can use the breathable, dirt-resistant protective covers to protect tables from dead leaves, pine sap and bird droppings. Avoid prolonged contact with objects that may retain water or moisutre (such as flower pots or trivets) Tilt your table slightly using a table block to prevent water from accumulating when not in use. Clean off bird dropping as soon as possible, as these are particularly damaging and can corrode or permenantly stain your furniture.
