At Soul & Tables, we take pride in our commitment to product quality and offer warranties to ensure your complete satisfaction. Our warranty coverage is tailored to different product categories:
Wood and Mechanisms
We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our wooden furniture pieces and their associated mechanisms.
Soul & Tables provides a lifetime warranty on wooden furniture purchased directly from us, covering:
- Manufacturing defects
- Structural faults affecting the integrity or intended function of the piece
- Defects in workmanship arising under normal residential use
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment by Soul & Tables. Our decision following assessment shall be final.
The lifetime warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Surface scratches, dents, stains, or cosmetic ageing
- Natural characteristics of solid wood, including grain variation, colour change, minor cracking, or patina development
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper care, accidents, or unauthorised modifications
- Environmental factors such as excessive humidity, heat, flooding, or other external events
Outdoor Furniture
Our outdoor furniture range is backed by a comprehensive 3-year warranty, offering peace of mind as you enjoy your outdoor space. Please note that wear and tear are excluded.
What is typically Covered: Manufacturing defects, structural failure of frames (cracking or breaking), and excessive fading or unraveling of the resin weave under normal residential use.
What is typically NOT Covered:
- Damage from extreme weather.
- Misuse or lack of proper maintenance.
- Natural ageing of materials (e.g., the silvering of teak or minor surface hair-cracks in wood).
- Chemical damage (sunscreen, chlorine, or harsh cleaners).
- Corrosion originating from scratches or abrasions that result from general wear and tear and which cannot be removed via standard cleaning and maintenance processes.
- Corrosion of metal furniture (including stainless steel furniture) as a result of use in a coastal environment.
Causes of Corrosion
- Salt Air: Chloride ions in the salty air accelerate the breakdown of aluminum's natural protective layer.
- Humidity & Moisture: High moisture in coastal areas creates an environment where oxidation thrives, making surfaces wet longer.
- UV & Wind: Intense sunlight fades finishes, while wind increases abrasive wear on coatings.
Prevention & Maintenance
- Regular Rinsing: Wash furniture weekly with fresh water to remove salt deposits.
- Deep Cleaning: Monthly, use mild soap and a soft brush to remove grime, then rinse thoroughly.
Outdoor Lighting
We offer a 2-year (for Fatboy) and 3-year (for Fermob) warranty for our outdoor lighting products. Please note that wear and tear are excluded.
Accessories
These can be returned under the 1-month return policy. Please note that wear and tear are excluded.
Bedding Products
Due to hygiene and health considerations, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for bedding products, including sheets and duvet covers. 10-year warranty on mattresses. Only for structural defects.
Inspection Upon Delivery
We strongly recommend a thorough inspection of all products immediately upon delivery. If you detect any defects or issues, please report them promptly to our customer service team. Take Note
The warranty does not cover incidental loss or damage resulting from modifications, alterations, negligence, misuse, improper care, abuse, or events beyond our control, including floods, storms, or other natural disasters.
Lifetime Warranty Transferability
The Lifetime Warranty is transferable from the original purchaser to another legal owner. To request a transfer of ownership, the original owner is required to email us with the sales order number and the contact details of the new owner.Please note that warranty transfer applies only to warranty coverage. Maintenance services, including complimentary maintenance benefits, are not transferable and may be subject to prevailing service fees.
Soul & Tables reserves the right to refuse or decline warranty or maintenance services in cases where the item condition, usage history, modifications, or other circumstances fall outside our service scope or policy guidelines.
